Aveliu is an advisory and investment firm based in the Silicon Valley founded by Kolja Reiss.

​

Mr. Reiss has started a number of successful technology businesses in North America and Europe, and currently serves as Head of Strategic Business Development for RS2 Software - North America, spearheading the launch of the company in the United States and bringing BankWORKS®, a leading global payment processing software, to payment partners in North America.

 

Previously, he established mopay as a leading mobile payments provider in the United States before it was sold to Boku, and was more recently responsible for the launch of DIMOCO Americas, a subsidiary of Austria-based DIMOCO, with overall responsibility for corporate development and global business development.

Mr. Reiss is passionate about new technology and how it transforms our lives, and regularly speaks at industry events; he also blogs for VentureBeat, Mobile Commerce Daily, and MobilePaymentsToday. Furthermore, he is a mentor at Silicon Valley Ignite Academy.

He speaks English and German and holds a Master of Business Information Systems of the University of Paderborn, Germany. He is married and has three daughters.
